Heartland Heritage Museum & Art Gallery in Checotah, Oklahoma, is committed to promoting art and culture in the community by showcasing diverse artistic expressions and preserving cultural heritage.

Our dedication lies in honoring our local heritage through our distinctive collections and by providing a platform for artists to thrive, ensuring a vibrant cultural landscape for generations to come.

Our Collections include memorabilia highlighting Checotah's Rodeo History which includes Steer Wrestling because we have bragging rights as the Steer-Wrestling Capitol of the World. 

The museum also features artwork by award winning Native American artists as a celebration to our local Native Heritage. 

​The Art Guild displays and sells their artwork and provides a venue for all artists and artisans to come and participate in Open Art during the week.
